What we stand for
OUR MISSION AND GOALS
Matriark CIC is dedicated to expanding opportunities for women to thrive as entrepreneurs, advance in their careers, develop skills, and increase their visibility and influence in business and the creative industries. We do this by amplifying the presence of women and their work.
Historically, and even today, women’s contributions have often been overlooked, undervalued, or taken without proper credit or financial reward. We aim to change that.
Our goal is to support women in growing their own businesses by creating a new platform where they can showcase and sell their work with pride and confidence.
Are You a Business or a Charity?
We are a Community Interest Company (CIC), a type of limited company that exists primarily to benefit the community rather than generate private profit.
This structure allows us to pursue social goals while also engaging in commercial activities, with profits reinvested back into the community.
We chose this model because it aligns perfectly with our mission: operate like a business to empower women.
What Are Your Views on?
We have committed ourselves to serve women, this is our only aim. On all other matters, and in line with our responsibilities as a CIC, we remain and will continue to remain neutral.
By helping and supporting women, we want to create a better world for everyone.
What Is Your Business Model?
Our marketplace is designed not only to generate sustainable profits but also to serve a greater purpose.
Most of our profits will be reinvested into providing free services, resources, and ongoing support specifically tailored to empower women entrepreneurs around the world and uplift women in general through our platform.
In addition to supporting our community directly, we are committed to giving back by donating to organizations and initiatives that align with our mission of advancing gender equality, economic opportunity, and social justice for women.
